Planning & Development
The Town Council is a statutory consultee on all ELDC planning applications relating to Horncastle.
The Planning and Development Committee has delegated powers to consider these planning applications, listed building consent and applications for work to trees on behalf of the Town Council and provide a response to ELDC.

Press and public are welcome to attend meetings, apart from when confidential items are being discussed. A maximum of 10 minutes is set aside prior to the start of each meeting for comments and questions from the public.
The applicant for each planning applications will be invited to attend the meeting where their application is being discussed. They, along with any objectors present, will be invited to speak prior to the council agreeing a response to ELDC
Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 6.00pm at Stanhope Hall.
